Super Bowl Party
Each year, for the
Super Bowl, we have a great time together watching the game, eating home-made
pizzas and playing all kinds of games. The
football game is shown on a big screen projected onto the wall.
The pizzas are truly the best part. You
are presented with your own pizza crust. You
then are able to go through a whole line of every kind of pizza topping you can
imagine. Have a basic pepperoni or
throw together the largest pizza you’ve ever seen!
The choice is yours as you design the kind of pizza you want to have
while you watch the big game or enjoy one of the board and card games being
played at the party. It’s always a
good time!
Float/ Campout
This is 2 day
event, the first afternoon consists of fishing, horseback riding, canoeing, or
relaxing on the prairie. That evening we have a huge BBQ, and always the
favorite, making of "smores". Followed by singing, fellowship
and fireworks. Then find your bunk or a place under the stars for a good nights
rest, for the next morning awake to a great breakfast, To get us started for a
day on the river. Grab your sunscreen, water bottle, tube, boat, or canoe, and
enjoy the wet relaxing fun.
Neighbor Day
This is a
special day in the month of September. Everyone
in the community is invited to come and take part in a day of worship, great
food and wonderful fellowship. This
is a day to honor our friends, family and neighbors.
We want you to come and be our special guests.
It is always capped off by some of the best barbeque you’ve ever had.
We invite you to worship God with us and stay to enjoy the meal furnished
by our members and get to know us better.
Hobo Stew/ Hike
What
happens when you tell everyone to come with a can of food and throw everything
into one big pot?
A surprisingly good stew!
This is a great event we have in the beautiful Black Hills of Vanocker
Canyon as the leaves are beginning to show their Fall colors.
The food is good and the hike afterwards is always enjoyable.
Come and bring any can of food you’d like to add, even if it’s
sauerkraut!
Ladies Retreat
This annual event
is held each fall at the Ranch A near Beulah, Wyoming. Twenty five to forty
women from the surrounding area churches come to renew their spirit and
strengthen the fellowship with their sisters in Christ in this beautiful lodge
nestled along Sand Creek surrounded by trees and wildlife. They sing, laugh,
hike, eat and hear an inspiring message during the devotion in this over night
event.
Black
Hills Bible Camp
Each summer
around 200 youth from the churches of Christ in a five state area come to the
beautiful Black Hills to Camp Mallow. This week long retreat is a time for youth
to learn more about Jesus Christ and His plan of salvation, meet new friends,
have lots of fun and strengthen their faith too.
